Justin Heffron is a current master’s student at Purdue University studying Computer Graphics with a specialization in game development. He is focused on several areas of the game development pipeline, especially 3D modeling, technical art, and programming. He has a strong interest in classical art, architecture, literature, and culture.

Spencer graduated from Purdue in 2020 with a Bachelor's in CGT with a focus of 3D Character Animation. For CRLT, he does all things animation, including rigging, character animation, and state machine programming. Spencer enjoys cooking, exploring new hobbies, and of course, video games.

Michael Staats graduated in 2021 from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Computer Graphics Technology with a dual major in Game Development and Web Programming. Combining his skills gained within game engines, general game development, and web fundamentals he finds himself in a strong position to be handling most of the UI development in our sim. In his free-time Michael enjoys working on personal game projects, playing games with friends, reading, and finding new music to listen to.

Austin graduated from Purdue in Spring 2021 with a Bachelors in Game Development & Design, specializing in design. He's enjoyed taking up audio, tutorials, level designs, and other jack-of-all-trades responsibilities for the team. In his off-time he likes running D&D, finding charming games to play and share, and learning useless new skills to expand his horizons.

Allison graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Communication from Stephens College in 2016. Spending some time as a painter, a graphic designer, marketer and Boy Scout she is excited to bring her eclectic skillset to CRLT. When she’s not in the office you can find Allison spoiling her boxer-pit mix, Cora, tuning into the latest D&D stream. Best way to befriend her? Ask her to read your star chart.

Scott graduated from Texas State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He is a native Texan and resides in the Houston area. In March of 2012, he began his career in the Law Enforcement industry working as a Sales Associate and progressing to a Senior Program Manager for a major firearm and use of force simulation company. For nearly a decade, Scott had the opportunity to travel the country as well as many international destinations, to meet with law enforcement professionals from all backgrounds and assist with their agency training objectives. Scott is married to his wife, Anna, and they have one son. They are also parents to two German Shepherds, Holly and Henry (requires vacuuming 7 days a week). When not working, Scott enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, hunting and fishing, sports, and is an avid firearms enthusiast.

Nathan graduated from Purdue University in 2020 with a Bachelors in Computer Graphics Technology with a focus on Game Development and a Minor in Management. He plans to use his game design and project management experience to maximize the team’s efficiency and keep things on track. Outside of the office you can find him hammocking, reading, and of course, playing games.

John is a lifelong programmer with over 25 years professional experience, and nearly as many years a hobbyist game developer, and is excited to turn this hobby into a career with CRLT as they strive to save lives. He works and resides in the Fort Wayne area with his wife and their two children. When not found behind the screen of a computer either programming or gaming (X-Plane & Rocket League), he likes to do just about anything with his family and friends.

Tod founded Crisis Response Leader Training, Inc. to support the development of advanced Computer-Assisted and Technology Innovation links to the needs of Emergency and Crisis Response Leaders. Previously, Tod was a senior adviser on Operations, Intelligence, and Special Programs with a primary focus on asymmetric challenges within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and local and federal Law Enforcement Agencies. Tod spent 27 years working in the military as a Soldier, Officer, and Senior Adviser. He conducted numerous combat deployments and operations as part of special operations forces. Tod is the principle author on ground-breaking targeting methodologies in support of counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations. He is a dynamic thinker whose services are often tapped for advisory support focused on scenario and course development for both corporate and government clients at multiple leader levels (from the battlefield to the corporate board room). He is also Project Management Professional certified since 2012. Tod is married to Jennifer, and they have three outstanding kids. He loves being outdoors, watching Star Wars, or playing video games with his son. He is also the author of the fantasy fiction novel series, The Erinia Saga. Which he hopes to turn into video games...some day...
